  • Account information: name, email address, and LinkedIn profile URL that you provide when creating an account or requesting a free analysis.
  • LinkedIn profile data: publicly available information from your LinkedIn profile, including headline, about section, experience, skills, education, certifications, featured content, and recent posts. We only access information that is publicly visible.
  • Analysis results: the scores, evaluations, recommendations, and reports generated by our AI analysis.
  • Payment information: billing details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our LinkedIn profile analysis service
  • Generate personalized recommendations and replacement text
  • Process payments and manage your account
  • Send transactional emails (analysis results, account updates)
  • Send marketing communications if you have opted in
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve our product

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate Arcova, including providers for cloud infrastructure and database hosting, user authentication, collection of publicly available LinkedIn profile data, AI-powered analysis, web application hosting, and transactional email delivery. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Each provider processes only the minimum data necessary for its function and is bound by contractual data protection obligations. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and analysis results for as long as your account is active. LinkedIn profile snapshots used for analysis are stored to enable progress tracking across multiple analyses. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data and analysis results
  • Correct inaccurate information in your account
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Export your analysis data in a portable format

6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You may request to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

7. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing. Our legal basis for processing is your consent (provided when you submit your profile for analysis) and legitimate interest (to improve our service).

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted database connections, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of Arcova after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
